Exercise Based Therapy

Fit N well provides a one-on-one counselling service for young people aged 14 to 25, who are facing mental health challenges. Fit N Well uses a unique, and world first approach at utilizing exercises as a therapeutic technique in a gym-based setting. Clients who access Fit N Well are able to explore personal and mental health challenges that are preventing them from reaching their full potential. The environment at Fit N Well is aimed at supporting young people who may not fit in to traditional talk based therapies and are seeking a more active and physical form of therapy to explore their world and the challenges they face.

Community Program

Fit N Well Community Program is aimed at supporting local sports clubs and community groups to build a strong and supportive environment around mental health within their organisation. Statistics show that 1 in 4 young people will struggle with their mental health at some point. Sports clubs and community groups play a key role in the early intervention and support for families and young people who might be facing mental health challenges. Fit N Well Community Program offers sessions with coaches, parents, and players around how they can support and nurture a culture of positive mental wellbeing.

Group Therapy

Fit N Well group sessions are similar to a 1 on 1 session with participants engaging in session based Exercised Based Therapy principles. Groups take place over 4 to 8 weeks and are tailored to the needs of the group or organisation. Each session has a wellbeing or mental health theme that overarches the exercises in the session. Fit N Well group sessions can be run within school settings and other community groups, with all equipment and session plans being arranged by Fit N Well in collaboration with the needs of the group. Training and Speaking

Fit N Well is the world’s first Exercise Based Therapy service in the world.
